Is it spring yet? This winter has been very unpredictable, just like students. We love these children that keep us on our toes. They teach us so much as we teach them.

Spring is a time of change and growth, and SME mirrors nature in that way - as our students demonstrate both change and growth in so many ways at this exciting time of year.

Sixth graders created this "Wonder Wall". It is full of some of the things that make them curious. We did this in preparation of the kick-off of Genius Hour.








There are lots of things going on in and out school in these next few months. The time is going to fly!

Here are some dates to mark in your calendar:

 •    March 17:  All School Curriculum Night  (this Thursday!)
•    March 21: 6th Grade SS field trip
•    March 22: 5th Grade SS field trip
•    March 25:  3-way Conferences (Please schedule a time with your student's homeroom teacher)
•    March 29:  Activity Afternoon
•    April 13th:  EXPO
