Happy Friday 5th and 6th Grade Families!

I hope this message finds you all well and enjoying the beginning of the Holiday Season!  A few reminders that there is a great deal going on in the coming weeks!  Check out this list and feel free to contact/email your child's homeroom teacher with questions:

Dec. 3     5:30 - 7pm  5/6 Parent Meeting about Healthy Relationships
                                     (Pizza served from 5:30-6)

Dec. 5     Report cards will be mailed home

                10-2pm    Field Trip to Dartmouth Basketball Game (permission forms should be returned
                                 at this point)
 
                6-7:30pm      6th Grade Greek Project Exhibition

Dec. 11    10-2pm    Field Trip to see Matilda at Northern Stage (Permission forms went home this
                                 week)

Dec. 17     5:15-7pm  6th Grade Informed Consumer Cooking Challenge (A Language Arts and
                                    Science Exhibition), Invitation to follow.

Dec. 19     6:30pm      Holiday Concert (To be held at the Academy, NOTE: This date is a change)

Dec. 21     Last day of school before the winter recess!

Jan. 10      Winter Program begins and there are still quite a few students who have not yet turned in
                  their registration forms.  Please have those in ASAP.

Hello to all 5/6 SME Students, Parents, and Guardians!

It was such a pleasure to meet with you last Friday for our 3-Way Conferences. It was great to hear about all of your goals for yourselves in each of your classes. As we each teach one core course, it is extremely exciting to hear about what you are learning in your other classes.

This upcoming Tuesday, November 6th, SME is hosting its own Harvest Luncheon. The schedule has been adjusted in order to accommodate everyone. Please see the new schedule below:

Kindergarten and 1st grade-11:00

2nd and 3rd grade- 11:45

4th grade- 12:00

5th and 6th grade- 12:45

This upcoming Wednesday, November 7, the 5th and 6th graders will be able to attend an Activity Afternoon from 3:15-5:30 PM. We will be having a variety of games and activities for your students to participate in that afternoon. The event will cost $2.00 per student, and pick-up is at 5:30 PM. The permission slips will be given to students early this week.
