End of November and the end of the trimester....

Hello Families!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! It sounds like there was a lot of fun had and full bellies to talk about! As the holidays continue, students begin to get a little restless and excited. Please encourage your children to continue to get a good night sleep to help them through their days at school!

Report cards will be sent home to all students on Friday. We ask that you please sign the envelope that the report cards come in and send the envelope back with your student to be reused.

Special Visitors

In Social Studies, we are exploring the impact of the culture
of the "Golden Age" of ancient Greece on our modern world.
Last Tuesday, November 7th, our Sixth Graders had a special
visit from two local Olympic athletes from past Winter Games.
Mr. Jeff Hastings and Mr. Walter Malmquist joined us for a
fascinating "Socratic discussion" based on their Olympic experiences,
and their observations about the ancient and modern Olympic games.
Our sixth grades asked excellent probing questions
and were enthusiastic in their responses to our Olympic visitors.
